Ami Becker

I'm Ami, an artist living and working in Leicestershire. I am fascinated by colour, and how colour influences everything around us and within us. I very much see the world in colour and feel fascinated by the way we interact with it and how it affects us. Growing up originally in Bognor Regis on the south coast, I am heavily influenced by the feeling I get when I am by the sea, and the feeling of home I get when I stand rooted with my feet in the sand and my hands catching the waves. These two strong themes of the sea and colour are seen heavily within my abstract paintings and depict the energy and the emotions they bring me. People often tell me that my art is 'happy art', this is such a joy to hear, I feel so privileged to bring happiness & joy to people through my art.
